Here is a first look at the Atmospheric Opacities from May 24th 2008.

Three skydips were performed. The Kelvin / Air Mass for each channel is plotted below. The reference channel 102 and the median Kelvin/Airmass of all the good channels (where good channels are channels with an optical efficiency above 8% and within 1 standard deviation to the skydip fit) are plotted as well.

Following previous opacity measurements, the sky temperature is assumed to be 250K. The mean of the median Kelvin/Airmass is used, resulting in an opacity of 0.047 The Mars flux calibration file for scan 17680 has been updated.
