James & Keith have been discussing this and laying out the tasks that need to be accomplished to make the rev0 boards fully usable in lab situations. It essentially boils down to user interface issues. All of these should make use of the crython ADC/DAC->physical units conversion routines so the user never has to see e.g., DAC units.
- Need real-time monitoring (in physical units!)
- add translation to physical units in 'parser' completed Mar 31 2010
- create KST config file to bring up default useful plots Lowered in priority (parser writes Temperatures to labeled dirfiles)
- Investigate Resistance offset / frequency dependance
- Logger (in physical units!)
- create new streamer client
- should accept various options for rate downsampling
- Various auto-scripts (in physical units!)
- sub-cycle scripts, e.g., drop_stage.py, bake_pumps.py
- auto_cycle.py, calls above scripts
- PID.py, to set & hold a temperature given a heater
- should be able to run either on- or off-board
