Board 1

  • Board is currently functioning with the optoisolators resistors at 500 ohms
  • Micro SD card has been hand-soldered on

Board 2

  • Optoisolator resistors R(73,75,77,79) are 500 ohms
  • R38 is still 500 ohms
  • Remaining optoisolator resistors are 4.05k (as originally drawn in rev0 schematics.)
  • A MicroSD adapter (not the slot used in rev1 boards) is hand-soldered on
  • The RS485 transceivers' power has been connected

Board 3

  • Optoisolator resistors R(21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 38, 40, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 73, 75, 77, 79, 82, 84, 87, 89, 91, 93, 95, 97) have been changed from 4.05k to 500 ohms.
  • Currently controlling the fridge in Chicago

Board 5

Drive resistors (R5, R10) changed from 1 kohm to 50 kohm. Stability verified up to G=165 (Drive gain resistor = 300 ohms or greater)

TdH Update 25Mar2015: This board suffered from huge oscillations in the drive circuit, and these were due to the wrong values of R5 and R10. They were 1 kOhm, even though they were obviously soldered on by hand. We have changed R5 and R10 to 30 kOhm for Ch1, Ch2 and Ch14 ONLY.

GMS Sept. 2011: Apparently not. Abby's still having sporadic problems with the MicroSD slot being finicky. If / when this board makes it to McGill, please inspect it.

JRK Dec. 2013: This board was returned from Chicago. The ethernet port and clock has been burnt from high current.
